National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is drawing to a close, but for the women who battle the disease, that fight goes on long after most stop wearing pink. Part of the fight against cancer, survivors say, is trying to feel “feminine” and “normal” again. Kyle Goodwin, who owns Lady K Lingerie in Denville, decided to do something about helping breast cancer survivors feel “normal” or feminine again. Her downtown shop specializes in intimate apparel for women who have undergone breast cancer surgery.
Women who undergo breast cancer surgery face unique physical and emotional challenges during their recovery and treatment. At Lady K Lingerie, we are committed to helping women through this difficult time by offering them what is needed most – comfort and choice. Our goal is to provide the best and most innovative products in a warm and caring environment. We’re proud and honored to be a part of the breast cancer support community.
Owner, Kyle Goodwin is surgical ABC certified. This specialized training enables Kyle to help select the perfect size, weight, style and shape to best suit each woman’s unique needs following a mastectomy, lumpectomy or other reconstructive breast surgery.
We offer a complete line of initial care products, breast forms, balance shapers, intimate apparel, camisoles and accessories.
Most insurance companies understand the desire for a woman to live her life to the fullest, with many paying 80 to 100% of the cost. Percentages and participating providers vary; please consult your insurance company.
